I went to the doctor this week. He was glad that I gained 5 pounds. He was a tad worried that the baby isn't growing big enough or at a good rate. He was saying there are many factors that may contribute to this. The umbilical cord could be tearing away from the baby etc. So I have another sonogram scheduled in 2 weeks so determine little Miss Baby Schwartz's growth.
I had the same doctor with Haley and he had the same concern with her. I did end up getting a sonogram in the third tri-mester to determine growth for her. She was totally fine. Because of that I am not too terribly worried. Plus, I don't feel worried. The Dr. looked a tad concerned but he said it wasn't anything to loose sleep over. I kind of think it will turn out the same with Haley.
Maybe doctors are just so used to seeing people that have 8 and 9 pound babies that when they see a person who has 6 pound babies they start to get a tad concerned.
In two weeks when I get my ultrasound done I am also taking my glucose test. That should all be a ton of fun! Yay for that! This time instead of giving me the orange one to drink they gave me a red one. They say that the patients like the red ones the best. I didn't honestly mind the orange. Now, I guess I can give them my opinion on the matter.

Ice, Ice, snow, and more ice, and more snow!
Haley with her Pretzel! |
Since the schools were closed this week I didn't have to pick up a little boy from school. Ryan is in training so he had to brave the weather. It was funny on Tuesday training got canceled due to bad weather. Then after his boss found out training was canceled Ryan got called into work. He had to drive all over town. He told me he was going to have to tell his trainer not to cancel training anymore this week because he wanted to be inside where it's warm.
Today we got 4 inches of Colorado Powder Snow! I took Haley outside to enjoy it. Then I wanted a picture of her in her cute outfit outside. We ran outside later took some quick pictures and ran inside.
Got to love the snow! |

My Little Janitor
My little girl is really getting the hang of cleaning up. Sometimes when Haley goes to bed Ryan and I stay awake and eat snacks. Sometimes we leave our wrappers or bowls out and just go to bed. When Haley wakes up in the morning she finds the trash and says, "trash" and proceeds to throw it away. She takes dishes to the sink and needs to be lifted up to put them on the counter.
We have to watch out because some papers we leave out we don't consider "trash." She will take these to the trash as well. She is helping us be more tidy. I was tearing out coupons earlier this week when Haley walked by scooped up a pile of coupons and declared them "trash." I said, "That's not trash." By me saying the word trash she took it as an afirmation that she was doing the right thing. She ran faster to the trash can. After she put them in the trash she looked at me and clapped for herself. Yes, she had thought she was helping me. Oh, what a big helper she is
Haley likes to sweep and help mop. Even though she isn't very good at it. I still need to go get her a broom that is her size. She likes to help and she likes to get praised. The more you praise her the more she does.
